Doughnuts (Cameroonian)

Preparation
- 500 g flour and the yeast in a mixing bowl stir well.
- then add all the remaining ingredients and knead for about 6-8 minutes, until a smooth dough.
- now leave the bowl covered for about 40 minutes in a warm place to rise.
- knead the dough after rising. Then roll out into a rectangular plate, which is about 1 cm thick. With a knife or pizza roller, cut the dough into diamond pieces. 5.
- Cut a small slit in the middle of a rhombus, pull the rhombus slightly apart and roll up one side from the bottom up.
- Put the dough aside and let it rise for about 20 minutes, covered with a kitchen towel.
- in the meantime, heat the oil to about 170 degrees.
- now deep-fry the dough in the oil, each side about 2.5-3 minutes.
- after frying, drain the pastries on a paper towel and immediately roll in sugar.
